Who Did Ken Paxton Have An Affair With? This disclosure comes as Paxton’s legal team is engaged in a battle to have nearly all of the articles of impeachment brought against their client dismissed.
During the pre-trial impeachment procedures, the identity of the lady with whom Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is said to have had an extramarital affair was revealed.
Paxton is currently facing allegations of having committed adultery with the woman.
Paxton is going to have to defend himself against allegations of corruption at an impeachment trial that will begin in September before the Texas Senate.
On Monday, the attorneys representing the Attorney General filed a motion to dismiss 19 of the 20 articles of impeachment that have been filed against him.
Their argument was that these 19 articles pertain to claims that occurred before his most recent reelection, and therefore should be thrown out.

According to individuals who spoke with The Post, the girlfriend of former Texas Councilman Clayton Perry remained by him during the aftermath of his recent drunken hit-and-run accident; nevertheless, this is not the first political crisis she has endured.
According to a friend of the former city representative who spoke to The Post, Laura Olson, who has been married four times and is a mother of two, has been dating Perry “on and off” since 2019.
She remained by his side even after he was jailed the previous year in November for an alleged drunken hit-and-run, and she was at his side as recently as April 24, when they celebrated on a float for the Texas Cavaliers River Parade 2023, as shown on KSAT-TV.
The San Antonio-based business manager, who is 50 years old, is rumored to be “always very pleasant to be around, and she seemed to be very loyal to Clayton,” according to a friend who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The Dallas Morning News discovered, buried amid the stacks of documents relating to the impeachment articles, that a lady named Laura Olson is identified as the suspected mistress tied to the corruption claims against Paxton.
This revelation was made by the Dallas Morning News. According to the Morning News, a woman who shares the same name as Republican State Senator Donna Campell worked for her for a number of years.
It is alleged in one of the articles of impeachment against Paxton that campaign donor and real estate developer Nate Paul bribed Paxton by providing a job to an unknown lady with whom the attorney general was having an affair.
Paul is also mentioned as a defendant in the case. The articles of impeachment that were initially filed did not include the woman’s name anywhere in the document.
On the other hand, Laura Olson is called by name for the very first time in the motion that was submitted on Monday by Paxton’s legal team.
Given the relationship, it is unclear whether Senator Campbell is morally required to recuse herself from the next trial or not. This raises the possibility that she should.
“It is up to each senator to decide for him or herself whether or not they have a conflict of interest or whether or not there is a problem with their participation.” According to Michael Gerhardt, a specialist on impeachment and a law professor at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, the Morning News reported this information.
“This is the price that we pay for a system that relies on legislators to be the ultimate decision makers,” Gerhardt stated. “This is a price that we pay for a system that relies on legislators to be the ultimate decision makers.”
